Wait, rabbits? 🤔

They're not protectors!!!! 🫨

Ah, but they are.

You see, when I created the very first Guardian for my beautiful grand-niece, bears were the natural choice—strong and fierce. But then the Lord used our bunnies, Umbra and Legend, to remind me that rabbits are also strong protectors, just in a different way.

When they bond with their mate, it's a relationship many humans dream of having. Always there for one another, loving, encouraging, watching for danger.

When they bond with their humans, they pick up on emotions, sensing when we're stressed and in need of gentle comfort. Their vigilance—always alert, always watching—makes them natural guardians.

That's why rabbits have appeared in tales through the ages.

In many spiritual traditions, they represent:

✨ Heightened awareness - sensing danger before it arrives
✨ Gentle strength - courage wrapped in softness
✨ Safe passage - guiding through darkness into light
✨ Fertility and blessing - bringing new hope and joy

Where bears offer bold protection, rabbits offer watchful care. They teach us that guardianship isn't always about power—sometimes it's about presence, awareness, and the quiet comfort of knowing someone is watching over you.
